Children’s Art (Aug 2010)
Class Content
The course gives children not only an early start in the learning of colours, shapes and lines but also the opportunity to socialise with their peers. Besides drawing and colouring, they are encouraged to talk about their daily life experiences to help them generate more ideas for their drawings.
Class Requirements and Remarks:
For K1 and Pr 6 children only. Participants need to bring their own material: Oil pastels, China market, water colours, paint brushes, palette, drawing block No. 80, a small container for water, hand towel, colour paper, white glue and small scissor. Parents and Guardians are not allowed to sit in the class during lesson time.
Trainer
TANG HIANG CHOO A hobbycraft trainer with the PA for many years, Tang Hiang Choo specialises in dough figurines, paper cutting, Chinese knots and paper flower making. She has been invited to exhibit and teach her skills by organisations such as the Singapore Tourism Board and even by South Africa and Australia.
